ONE UP ONE DOWN CLIPPED

This is one of the most popular rigs around, its a variation of the flapper and clip down rigs  with a rig clip in the middle of the trace.

The Trace should be made from 50lb to 70lb mono

The Snood should be 25lb to 35lb,

I use these rigs with 2/0 fine wire hooks for Codling and Whiting

In summer I use 30lb to 35lb Trace with 8lb to 15lb snoods.

to complement this line I use size 8 to 1 fine wire long shank hooks.
